I always tell couples that their engagement session should be fun, lighthearted, and at a place that means something to them. Mariah & Rob met at Boston College so it was only natural to return to the campus where they starting dating. I first met Mariah while working at Boston Children’s Hospital and we quickly became good friends. Mariah & Rob are two easy-going, overall fun people to be around. Throughout the years of knowing them we have shared dinner parties, company events, and nights out in the city. Shortly after their engagement, Mariah started to talk to me about engagement photos and I couldn’t have been more honored to take them!
This past fall, we met in the late afternoon and took a stroll throughout campus just before a BC football game. The campus was buzzing with people tailgating but somehow these two were in a world all their own. We started on the upper campus, through the library, and down to lower campus ((even popping a champagne bottle in between)). I love afternoon sessions in the fall since the light is just perfect and I can save time for a few early evening shots with the backlight. It was so fun adventuring around and reminiscing their past college memories. They will be married in September 2018 in Fripp Island, SC. Thanks Mariah & Rob for spending your afternoon with me!
