Starting of my 2018 blogging with a session from the summer (better late than never, right?!) This summer I decided my website and blog needed a little revamping and well let’s be honest- I got busy (which I’m so grateful for) and life happened so my blog and website took a back seat. I am excited to share with everyone what I’ve been up to and for my new website! Let’s start off with the beautiful Nelson family shall we.
I first met Ryan while he was rotating through my department at Boston Children’s Hospital. ((fun fact for my new followers: I am a certified Athletic Trainer and worked at Boston Children’s Hospital from summer 2012-summer 2017 and have since left to pursue nursing school and my photography business)) During his rotation, Ryan and I worked together a few times and he would always talk to me and fellow co-workers about his family and past experiences as a physician. One day he showed me a picture of his beautiful wife, Amanda, and his 3 adorable kids and off hand I mentioned I had a photography business. Fast forward to almost 6 months later, Amanda contacted me to take their family portraits before they moved to the mid-west!
I met them on a hot summer morning on Acorn st. in Boston and ended the session in the Boston Common. It was such a cute idea to document their time in Boston just a few days before their big move to mid-west. Thanks Ryan & Amanda for allowing me to capture this special moment for you and your family!
