A little background

My journey into photography started with something simple—I "borrowed" my mom's camera in middle school. I started off capturing all the chaos during our family gatherings and then quickly moved to capturing their families growing.

After college and into my career as a nurse, I moved from family parties to capturing the families of the physicians and staff I worked with. As coworkers and even my own cousins started to have more children, I was asked to do newborn photos and fell in love with capturing the small details in those early weeks of life. 

Now, as a mother myself, I understand how fleeting those moments are. I have three beautiful earth-side children and one angel, all under the age of four. Believe me, I understand the chaos and how important it is to capture your family just as you are.
